Delete Your Account
You can delete your Protoboard Designer account and all associated data at any time.
Option 1 — Delete directly in the app (instant)
The fastest way is to delete your account from within the app itself:
- Open the Protoboard Designer app (Android, iOS, or web).
- Sign in to your account.
- Go to Settings.
- Tap Delete Account and confirm.
Account deletion via the app is immediate. All your server-side data — projects, files, custom footprints, and account records — is permanently purged at that moment.
Option 2 — Request deletion by email
If you cannot access the app, send a deletion request to:
Please include the email address associated with your account. We will process your request and confirm deletion within 30 days.
What data is deleted
- Deleted immediately (in-app deletion): all projects, uploaded files, custom footprints, and your account record on our servers.
- Deleted within 30 days: account identifiers, analytics linkages, and any remaining copies in active systems.
- Deleted within 90 days: encrypted backup snapshots (subject to backup lifecycle and disaster-recovery requirements).
- Retained for legal / security reasons: anonymized security logs may be retained for up to 30 days per our standard log-rotation policy. Financial records may be retained as required by applicable law.
